"Narration is a monologue method of oral communication, which is used to present a phenomenon, event, process, person, object in a perceptual way."
It is used to convey descriptive, specific information. It mobilizes the imagination and emotions of the students.
Can be applied for all ages.
"With this method, we primarily communicate the properties that can be perceived by the senses, so the description is quite specific: the information contained in it can be easily perceived by anyone who has an idea of its properties (e.g., shape, color, weight)." (Orosz, 1987: 117)
Narration should be experiential.
Narration is an emotionally rich method of communication, as a result of which students experience events, phenomena and processes through the mobilization of their imagination, and become part of them. (Lappints, 1997; Russian, 1987; Babansky, 1985: 85–88.)
