The Millennium Bridge

The Millennium Bridge is a famous bridge in London. It is a pedestrian bridge. It connects St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tate Modern.

The bridge opens in 2000. Many people visit it every day. It is 325 meters long. People walk across the bridge and enjoy the beautiful view of the River Thames.

At first, the bridge has a problem. It moves too much when many people walk on it. People call it the “Wobbly Bridge”. Engineers fix the problem, and the bridge opens again in 2002.

Today, the Millennium Bridge is safe and popular. Tourists take photos and enjoy the view.
